This hotel is located in Rothenburg which is a walled medieval city. It is a lovely place to stay. We had free parking on site which was nice since parking in Germany is pretty pricey. There was an automated check in system with keys for both the outside door and your own room. The breakfast was lovely and the people serving breakfast were super kind.

Great location. Stayed here back in '95 and it's just as good as I remembered. Really big room with multiple windows to give you good air movement in the evening. (Europe was having a heat wave during my vacation). Breakfast was really good as was the staff. I would recommend this place highly.

I used to be stationed in Germany many years ago. I booked this hotel on the reviews of the breakfast...and it was the most amazing German breakfast...exactly how I remembered. The assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereals, jams, drinks (and an egg, cooked to your liking) The owner spoke excellent English, and spoke with all of his guests. Amazing customer service. The check in was automated, and very easy to use. When you make your reservation, screenshot the code that is sent to you. Very easy process. The buildings in Rothenburg are very old. The room we had was updated...but understand none of them are going to be modern. (When I lived in Germany, bathrooms used to be down the hall, and shared.) There is also a restaurant down the side street that has the most amazing dinner. Great location, great service, great value, and an even better breakfast.
