Home-brewed beer and Westfalen cuisine are offered at Hotel Brauhaus Stephanus, just a 10-minute walk from Coesfeld Train Station. It features a sauna and a pretty garden with terrace and children’s playground. Stephanus features warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a free bottle of water on arrival. All have an private bathroom and some have a balcony. Hearty regional dishes and a varied breakfast buffet are provided in the restaurant. Special beer tours and live music take place in the hotel’s brewery, which features a cozy parlor bar. Rental bicycles are available at the hotel for exploring the nearby Hohe Mark Forest, 5 mi away. Coesfeld’s town center features several shops and restaurants. Free parking is provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brauhaus. The room was big and nicely furnished and had a big and stylish bathroom. The staff was very friendly and supportive with any request we had. The attached restaurant was great and the beers in the Brauhaus delicious - really worth a visit!
Extremely comfortable hotel, interesting price for value, free parking in front of the hotel, good restaurant with their house produced beer and local food. In spring a special asparagus menu - and a great breakfast.

The rooms and bathrooms are very well furnished and generally of a good standard. The adjoining restaurant is also good, however you need to book a table well in advance. I called three weeks before our stay and secured the last table for four available. The food itself and of course the beer is excellent.
