The location was outstanding. Close to all the attractions in town. The view out of the room onto the old bridge was terrific.
Hotel David is a very special gem in Regensburg. If you enjoy the style and history of the place you will love it.
We loved everything about Hotel David an der Donau! We stayed on the 4th floor in two beautiful rooms with big beams, wonderful wood floors and views of the Danube. The decor was rustic yet elegant and the beds were more than comfortable. These rooms are called the "sporty" rooms because you have to walk up many steps to get to them, but to us it was well worth it! Yes, the wood floors creaked when you walked on them and yes, the shower water splashed in the bathroom a bit, but again, we loved everything about these unique rooms so this didn't bother us at all. And, I haven't even mentioned the location. It was perfectly situated so we could walk everywhere in the old town of Regensburg. If you are looking for a hotel that is charming and has an historic background, look no further, this is definitely the one!
It is very charming and well located. It is plenty warm and big bathrooms. The tower is 900 years old.
I left my phone at the bar and when I picked it up at the front desk the next morning they had fully charged it for me! It was dead. Above and beyond. Now that’s service!
