Riemhofer Alter Schlachthof is more of a restaurant and beer hall than a hotel. There is virtually no hotel service. However, it's clean and relatively close to the center (a 15-minute walk to the edge of the historical center). The breakfast is quite pricey, but there's a nice little bakery across the playground and parking lot in the rear, where one can enjoy a good breakfast at a fraction of the cost.

I love the vibe, the view, the bar, the atmosphere. One of my fav places I have ever stayed.
Well situated, clean facility with mostly friendly staff and superb breakfast.
Hotel was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Very peaceful area. Location was good enough. Considering the local prices this was excellent value.
