Hotel was just off a crossroad with easy access to the main routes into and out of Sonthofen. It is within easy reach of a pedestrianised shopping precinct which was good for restaurants and pubs and coffee shops. We were only there for a Sunday stopover, a day on which German towns are usually quiet. Of particular note was the helpfulness of staff. My friend left his passport in his room and the staff made repeated attempts to contact us regarding this. Thankfully they left it overnight in a secure safe with a code and we were able to retrieve it.

Location, price and walking distance from points of interest. Easy access to travel in a vehicle and very good parking options. The duty manager at the hotel today, being the 19th May was extremely helpful and went the extra mile by connecting me after I checked out in the morning as I was out sightseeing, informing me that I had left my passport behind at the hotel. He was outstanding in ensuring we had access to the security safe outside the night door entrance so I could retrieve my passport. Thank you soo much. He deserves a bonus of some kind.

Breakfast was good as it was continental and as much as you could eat and plenty coffee and tea and fair selection

A generally good option for staying a few nights close to Allgau ski tracks. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. Plus, the hotel has a very good restaurant.
