We really appreciated the very warm welcome we received here after hours of train travel. We were escorted personally to our room, assisted up the stairs with our luggage, given a very helpful orientation to the hotel and its facilities, were offered a spacious and very comfortable room and within a short time, were relaxing on the terrace over good coffee and delicious cake. Hotel Herberge zur Traube is exactly the sort of place we hope to find when we travel in Germany, with family-run hospitality that makes all the difference in a hotel stay. Breakfast offered good variety, including house-smoked meats, the hotel itself s a historical delight, and Bad Wimpfen is a very pleasant town, with most of what we needed within walking distance, including the trains. We hope to return to this lovely hotel.

I like the location, it is on the beginning of the old town and from there you can take a walk. Restaurants, cafes, small shops and anything that you want is close to you. If you like to stay in buildings that, lets say, have a soul and story, than this is definitely for you. Breakfast is simple, but more than enough for the start of the day.
