Gorgeous historic property. Large lovely room with very comfortable bed, good lighting and lots of amenities. Very welcoming and informative staff. Can’t think of a thing I’d change. Wish we had stayed longer. Lots to do in the immediate area.

View was amazing (even if not lake view). Breakfast was excellent and room was extremely clean and well laid out.

Scenic drive up to the castle with a convenient place to park. Check in was quick and easy. When we found our room did not have a bathtub, we were happily accommodated with a room having a huge bathtub in a larger bathroom and generously sized robes and slippers provided. The setting is spectacular overlooking the lake and we were treated to a beautiful sunset. We had the sauna and hot steam rooms to ourselves as the hotel was not fully booked. Breakfast with a view is always nicer with many windows that overlooked the lake. Very extensive and delicious breakfast buffet that offered many lactose free options. When I asked for lactose free yogurt, I was brought a large bowl of one of the best yogurts I have ever had. No wonder that locals bring visitors to the breakfast.

Location was great, the Kitchen was the best - both breakfast and dinner the food was superb.
