it is in a lovely setting although the fish farm can be a bit off putting. the trees, the stream, the water wheel really set a nice mood.
I visited this facility several times back in 1998-2001. I came back since I had such great memories. I found that NOTHING HAS CHANGED! This was unbelievable -- I enjoyed the visit so much. My grandson was with me and also found the location (at the Northern end of the Black Forest) and directly on a stream to be perfect. The family grows their own fish and it was as good as I remembered from years past. I especially enjoy Breakfast since I normally only eat 2 meals a day, and theirs was fantastic as I had expected.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is spotlessly clean, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Despite being close to the railway, it was surprisingly peaceful at night, allowing for a great night’s sleep. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!
