Very nicely decorated hotel with plenty of tiny details like old fashioned irons or cutting devices placed in the stairs, lots of beautiful photos and lots of cards with calligraphic handwriting. Very calm. Nice breakfasts and dinner

This place had a large, cute restaurant and patio. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was also large. The staff were super friendly and kind, and I really enjoyed the German breakfast. It made for a very good day. They have great beer on tap, which I enjoyed on the patio.

The staff was excellent and the breakfast very good. The room was spacious and had been uppgraded since our last visit. Overall the hotel is fantastic! Regards Lars with family.

A very nice place, close to a lovely monastery and beautiful Hildesheim in easy reach. Cosy atmosphere and nice breakfast.

Excellent staff, good breakfast and staff made eggs fresh to order. Room on the side away from the street was normal sized for Europe but with large, comfortable, good quality bed, so for once my feet didn't hang off the end of the bed and we weren't smooched up in the hot weather. Everything was clean, everything worked, and everything looked well maintained. Parking right in front of the building. The location is 2 minute by car from local villages (suburbs, really) and very quiet despite being on a road. Windows in the rooms open and are fitted with insect guards to make sure you get fresh air without getting buzzy things. The hotel itself is full of little nicknacks and nature photography is on all the walls, plus there's an actual little library in the room with the coffee maker on the first floor, so if it rains and you stay in longer than planned, you can keep yourself entertained.
