A beautiful historic building against the forest of the Harz mountains. The Schloss features comfortable and spacious high ceiling rooms and classic old German decor. Endless hiking just outside the door.
Schlosshotel is the most unique lodging experience we have had! The grounds are beautiful with adorable folklore gems to be found. The hotel is stunning and you feel like you've stepped back in time, with the comforts of modern amenities!
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good.
The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era.

The breakfast is very plentiful, fresh and generally tasty.
The castle is in a wonderful location, clean and tidy. The staff is very nice and friendly, and they speak English (mostly).
We spent a really nice two days at that area.
