Accommodations a little spartan but completely satisfactory. Air conditioning would have made since it was real hot a couple of days.

Location in Hammelburg is great - right on the town's market square. Breakfast is good --- typical European continental breakfast. Room is quiet, even facing the square. My go-to hotel in Hammelburg.

Thank you to the hotel staff, especially Frau Barbara for the great welcome. Although we arrived and departed at night, we had no problems settling in. Frau Barbara sent us detailed instructions. Although I do not know German this was not a problem. Everyone is very friendly and tries to help. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located in the center of the city, from the window a magnificent view of the square and the mountains. Delicious European breakfast. There is a cafe in the hotel. On the square, also a lot of cafes and stores, market. Lovely city and hotel.
