The background of the place is interesting, rafting industry and it is highlited well. The beer garden is nice and the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good.
Placed in the middle of nature, aarea and soundings are wonderful, very friendly staff, clean and decent rooms. I wish the weather was nicer but it kept raining and spoiled the pleasure of the place.

The hotel well outside of Passau (about 30 minutes by bicycle and 10 to 15 by car), which makes it very quiet and quite beautiful, as it’s right on the Ilz River. If this is what you want (lots of hiking trails and natural surroundings), you'll be fine. If you want city activities, stay somewhere else.
Everything is clean and comfortable, and breakfast is reasonable priced and good, though nothing fancy.
