Antonio was an awesome host. Day one I locked myself out of the apartment...he was very kind about letting us back in. The following day, road workers cut wifi cables to the entire area. He spent quite a bit of time getting an alternative in place. It was very much appreciated.
The apartment was a block away from the main pedestrian center of Heraklion. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. My husband and I loved walking the area. We felt very safe.
Perfect location, nice view, clean, a lot of space and light, very comfortable mattresses, many wardrobes.
The host was helpful and always replied. My taxi couldn't find the apartment and the owner answered very late and directed him to the location. I loved the jacuzzi on the balcony, so relaxing. Comfortable bed, robes and slippers were provided. I was allowed to leave my luggage on property the day I left, my departure was later in the day and I felt very safe leaving all my possession there. The owner also assisted in recommendations for good restaurants and places to go near by. As a woman traveling alone I felt supported by the host. I knew I could ask questions and he would always respond and assist. It was a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend!!
Convenient location to the port and many good tavernas. Nice little kitchen setup and patio seating.
