The view over the harbor was stunning. There was a very large balcony with chairs (and a clothes line) and a table that was ideal for having a drink, reading a book, and looking over the city and the water. The mattress was superb and great for my back. The manager, Maria, was the nicest and most welcoming person!! She picked us up at the port and dropped our luggage off there when we left and also helped us arrange a rental car for our island exploration. She always greeted us with a warm smile and made us at home.
The view from the balcony was wonderful. Maria was an excellent hostess. She was very helpful. On our last day she drove our luggage down to the port in time for the ferry while we walked around, shopped, had lunch. At the last minute we found out the ferry was going to leave from a different port. Maria and her brother, Spiros, had heard the news and came down early looking for us! That’s service!
Lovely small hotel with amazing views over Skopelos town! Mary and Spiros (and their cutest dog and cat) are great hosts, so kind and helpful. Nice room, comfortable bed and a big balcony.
It's quite a climb up to the hotel, but the views are definitely worth it! On the day of arrival they can pick you up from the port, just arrange in advance.

Denise Hotel is in an amazing location with spectacular views. The lovely and generous hosts were kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a sea view, upon arrival. Taking a short swim in the pool in the evening was extremely refreshing.
