The Grand Serai is an elegant hotel with beautiful public spaces. The grand piano in the lobby, the carved woodwork, the sumptuous seating areas all said, come linger awhile. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms are spacious. My bathroom even had a chandelier. The breakfast buffet had an amazing array of choices. Everything we sampled was delicious. The staff was multi lingual, efficient, and very accommodating. We enjoyed coffee and after dinner drinks in their bar area. Our server was very pleasant and very attentive to our requests. The hotel is well located. Everything is within walking distance - the shops, restaurants, the fortress, the lake. We had a grand experience, and would return in a heart beat!
A perfectly designed five-star hotel with pictursque view of the lake from terrace. The room is huge with oak floor and beautiful furniture. Very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night but really enjoyed the hotel.
