The Kouki House is located in a wonderful neighborhood of Athens - lively, relatively safe and with a local vibe not crushed by tourism. All of the attractions of Athens are accessible, either by walking or catching a Metro that is 10 min away. It is a basic, but comfortable space. Due to the location, it was easy to do things in the morning, come back in the afternoon to rest and avoid the heat, and go out to do more in the evening. The hosts were very friendly and willing to give advice for places to go or things to do.
Host very friendly and got out of his way yo make our experience great, not just house related! And the location was great! Would totally stay here again!
Location and proximity to real Athenians as opposed to just tourists
The location here is fantastic! Close to everything you need, and less than a 10 minute walk from the metro! The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, and the apartment was clean! We were also pleasantly surprised that the house had wifi! (The booking.com listing says it doesn't). The hosts checked in on us often, and gave detailed instructions on how to get there from the airport which was so helpful!
Had an amazing time staying in Kouki house. It was very clean, fit us (family of 4) perfectly. We loved the quiet neighborhood. It was within the walking distance to Acropolis as well as Plaka area. We loved the local bakeries, coffee shops and supermarkets that were all within 1-2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. We had an amazing time staying at Kouki house and highly recommend it for families.
