Melissa Hotel is a beautiful family run business. It is within walking distance of the beach but far enough away from the busyness to be peaceful. The service we received was excellent and we were made to feel right at home . Breakfast offered a variety of dishes, many of which had been made in house.
Really nice small and friendly. Very clean. Rooms very big. We ordered a family room and were given two interconnecting rooms. Breakfast was really nice and plentiful. Really nice swimming pool. Very quiet area of Matala. Will definitely come back.
Nice hotel, large family room that had plenty of room for our family of 4. Nice pool and good breakfast included. Lots of parking. Not far from Matala Beach, about 15 minutes to walk down. Staff were very pleasant.
The property is a lovely walk to the beach and down town of mátala. the hotel is family owned and the breakfast has a lot of home made items. exceptional stay, hot water, and delicious food. great price.
simple but delicious breakfast, with homemade/ produced yogurt, honey, and baking available. sweet outdoor seating area to take advantage of southern Cretan perfect weather.
