The family-run Nikos Hotel is located in the village of Matala, only 164 feet from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms with balcony, some overlooking the Libyan Sea and the famous caves of Matala. Nikos rooms are bright and spacious. Great location, close to beach and restaurants, car parking, great hosts, we were self catering
Owners and staff were super friendly! Made it really easy to relax in Matala from the first minute. In a logistical sense, parking is 60 seconds walk and the beach and markets etc are 90 seconds walk. In another sense, it’s more important to be visited by a cat on your sunny (in the morning) balcony.
Fabulous from beginning to end! Cleanliness, free parking, location to beach and friendly staff that is also pet friendly! The rich foliage different plants adds to the very charming atmosphere. We will book again if returning to the area … without hesitation!!
Location was perfect! Parking spot was nearby and my single room was perfect for a solo traveler. Loved that I could see the caves from my room and had a little spot to sit outside.
Great location, steps from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable rooms, nice and quiet.
