The beachfront Poseidon Beach Hotel is 1640 feet from the center of Laganas Town. It features an outdoor pool, a children’ s pool and accommodations with free WiFi. The rooms were basic but comfortable, the food was decent and a good variety. the bartenders were fast and friendly, and the staff works incredibly hard. There are many feral cats around the property who were friendly and would eat from your hand if you offered them food. I fed them all every day, including buying cat food from the local shop. It was a highlight to feed them and see others doing the same.
The pool was nice. There are plenty of sun shades.
Easy to get to from the airport. At the quieter end of the beach with food and drink available all day. We loved the new seating area on the rooftop open in the evenings. The sea was full of turtles and the walk across the bay east was amazing at sunrise and sunset
Poseidon Beach is a great location. Food and drink lovely and the staff are amazing
