Located right on the beach of Malia, Silver Sun Hotel features a swimming pool and poolside bar. It features self-catered accommodations with a balcony overlooking the Cretan Sea. A kitchenette with cooking facilities and fridge is included in all the units at the Silver Sun. Each has a safety deposit box and private bathroom with shower. Guests can relax on the sun terrace that features sun loungers and umbrellas. A billiards table is also available. Supermarkets can be found within 820 feet of the property. The center of Malia is 0.9 mi away. Free private parking is possible on site.

A beautiful, spacious apartment in a family-run hotel. Lovely pool with a view of the sea and beautifully-manicured grounds. Kind and accommodating staff. We had a wonderful time, and would love to return.
It's like having a private beach. Great for snorkling because it's protected from high waves.
Six stars! Silver sun checks all the boxes and more: family run and always available to help, quiet clean apartments, beautiful grounds, a large pool with a poolside bar offering food and to top it off an almost private beach.
Hint: save yourself the hassle of driving and parking in Malia; leave your car at silver sun and take a taxi into town. There are also two very good tavernas within walking distance along the beach, one to the west alongside Malia Port and the other to east before Potamos beach.
Staff is polite. The parking lot provides more than enough space and is secure. The water pool is clean. The beach was clean and has nice rock formation.
Place is ideal for people appreciating a relax atmosphere and prefer to walk a while. I enjoyed the evening walks worth the sea breeze.
The hotel it is maintained recently, and owners try to give to the rooms character. However, the technical staff did a somewhat sloppy job. My feeling is the owners will fix these.
Absolute beachfront with a fairly private beach and poolside cafe and bar. Plenty of private parking when we were there. our hostess, Katerina was most helpful.
