Syia Hotel, Сугия, Греция

We have stayed in this hotel several times in the last few years. It remains an immaculately maintained property in a great spot a short walk from the beach and restaurants.The beds are comfortable and the bedding is of high quality. The kitchenette is well equipped and the rooms of a good size. Markos, the manager, offers a warm welcome and lots of personal touches. He is also very happy to give advice about Sougia and surrounds. If you want a lovely hotel in a quiet location with friendly service, this place is hard to beat!

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Syia Hotel in Sougia, Crete. The room had everything we needed and we especially appreciated watching the goats pass on the nearby hillside every evening from our balcony. The owner, Markos, was extremely helpful and gave us many good tips on what to do in Sougia.
