The Egyptian breakfast is nice and wonderful to have on the rooftop. Abr is very kind.
Built in 1935, it is like you stepped back in time. Maybe just arrived on the Orient Express into a magnificent hotel. Everything is beautiful and just as it was in 1935. The woodwork and furnishings are amazing. I read a negative review and decided to go anyway. Everything is clean and updated without detracting from the ambiance. The complementary breakfast was delicious and they even made me a cappuccino! STAY THERE - you’ll be glad you did
Nice old fashioned interesting hotel in the downtown area. A great rooftop restaurant cafe bar and the breakfast provided by the very friendly waiter was excellent.
The location is great, close to everything in Downtown.
The friendly staff was very welcoming.
Manager Amr Gabor will serve you breakfast in the beautiful rooftop garden.
Choose Egyptian breakfast if you don’t want continental with much bread.
I will come back and stay at Carlton in the future!
Beds are comfortable, the room was clean and nice, it was next to a center but not noisy. Bakery and snack shop just in front of the hotel, and metro station also.
