What a lovely stay! From the moment we walked up to the property until the last check out day, the staff was so welcoming. They were always helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great to have and the breakfast was always tasty. We spent some time at the pool which always had fresh towels and you can bring a beer over from the restaurant to enjoy.
The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well during our stay.
I appreciate how close it is to the outskirts of the main city yet far enough where it feels peaceful. It’s only a 10 minute walk into town for food or about 30 minutes to walk into the main area. It was a great way to get our steps in.
Finally, the hotel has an option to get picked up or dropped off from the airport and the driver (Dewa) is exceptional. He’s timely and gets you where you need to be. He’s even offered to take us to other locations including Uluwatu for a very reasonable price.
I would absolutely stay here again.

Despite the close proximity to central ubud it’s very quiet and peaceful.
We loved staying in the wooden Villa. Reconnecting with Nature and Greenery around. The Property was away from the centre but peaceful and at walkable distance to the centre, Palace and Temples. Restaurant was good too. They provided Spa facility as well as Laundry at cost. We loved the friendly staff who were always supportive and helpful (Dharma and Deva whom we got know at the property and all the housekeeping staff).
We had a wonderful stay at Gayatri Retreat in Ubud. The welcome from the manager and the whole team was truly outstanding — always warm and attentive. The food was of very good quality, and our room was spacious and comfortable, beautifully decorated in the Balinese style we love so much. We also really appreciated the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the swimming pool. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!
