Located behind a Balinese village, The Purist Villas and Spa is 25 minutes' walk from central Ubud. It is a 1 hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport and offers free parking. Tastefully designed villas offer a rich blend of traditional and modern with Balinese craftwork and fine wood furnishings. They come with comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. For leisure, enjoy massages and body treatments at Purist spa or take up a cooking lesson. Alternatively, staff can conduct yoga lessons or organize day trips. Lunch and dinner are served at The Living Room Restaurant, which features lounge sofas. The Pool Cafe offers Balinese snacks and freshly squeezed fruit juices and cocktails. Accessibility: Please be aware that our property's landscape may pose challenges for wheelchair users, disabled individuals, and elderly guests. There are several stairs/steps required to access the rooms and navigate the garden pathways. Rainy Season and Insects: During the rainy season or monsoon, it is natural to expect the temporary presence of bugs and insects as we are located close to nature. We take all necessary measures to minimize their impact, but occasional sightings may occur. Local Environment: As our location is nestled within a local village, we kindly request your understanding regarding the sound of neighboring roosters in the morning. This is beyond our control but is a part of the authentic local experience.

This was such a perfect place to decompress on our last few days of our trip. The rooms are fantastic- beautiful, clean and with a fantastic bathroom. The pool is lovely and clean. The hotel itself is gorgeous/ feels like you are in the jungle when you are just a few minutes from the center of Ubud. Loved that they had a scheduled shuttle into town but you could also get a private car too . Breakfast and afternoon tea was wonderful- full service for breakfast
This is such a beautifully designed property. We absolutely loved our stay here. The food is phenomenal and the spa treatments are wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
The Purist is located 5-10 minutes by taxi (it can take longer if there is traffic due to any ceremony) from Ubud center surrounded by local life. Inside the territory of the hotel is very quite. We lived in a Hill Villa, it has nice pool area and great view from the terrace. There 2 rooms, one of the with king bed on the first floor with steep steps up. Up there a toilet and a small garderobe. The territory is well maintained, the service are great and attentive. The food for breakfast and dinner are of good quality. The purist offers vegetarian and pescatarian menu.
The room was beautiful, lovely traditional furniture & decor, spacious & comfortable. The staff too are very kind & welcoming. The breakfast was freshly prepared a la carte & dinner options are reasonably priced but limited choices.
The interior was surprisingly spacious, with clever use of space and charming decor that balanced fairy tale vibes with modern comfort. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spotless, and the little reading nook in the toe of the boot? Absolute magic
