I've already stayed here at least a half a dozen times since this hotel was inaugurated in 2007. The rating here isn't so amazing, but I've to say, I can't understand why. For the price, it's by far the best hotel in Central Jakarta. Sure, it's getting up there in years and there's a weird smell in the hotel (I'd check the air vents, smells like a rat has died in there?), but I'm used to it. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and they've also put in some work to keep the hotel up to date, unlike other hotels. There's now the possibility to refill water for yourself and the doors and walls have been re-painted. The WiFi is top notch, beating out hotels with a far higher rating or price. The nearby park is also great and it's in a top location. You can walk to GI or Plaza Indonesia in 8-10 mins.

Smoking rooms available, clean room upon check-in, consistent hot water in shower, working elevator & escalators, water dispensers available in the hallway, good breakfast (honestly, there were only a few options but better than nothing), coffee shops on the ground floor (Starbucks & Tomoro Coffee plus more cafe/coffee shop options across the street), courteous staff (they all tried their best to communicate with us in English, which we genuinely appreciated), helpful security personnel (thank you!)

Location wise it is perfect for very accessible, near to tourist places and central like Grand Indonesia, Bandaran HI. The room is quiet and clean. I booked again for a week with my family and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and proactive. There were a lot of coffee shops on the ground floor, Starbucks is one of them and beside the hotel, there was a mini food street that opened at night. I recommend Ibis for business and budget-conscious travelers a place to stay when you are in Jakarta.

Good Location accessible and near to the Center - Grand Indonesia, Bandaran HI, and tourist attractions. There is a Starbucks and other Coffee Shop and money charger on the ground floor and a small street food beside the hotel. Quite Place. Room is fit for business and budget travellers. The staff is so accommodating and pro-active. and I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff. Thank you for making our stay in Jakarta more memorable. I recommend this very cozy hotel and I will come back again.
