Very friendly check-in staff, loved privacy of our cabin and full kitchen (3 bedroom cabin), great setting. Cottage decor was nice!

A sweet collection of cottages and main building in the countryside. We were in #13, a family studio - a twin over double bunk, another twin, small kitchenette, couch, and table with 4 chairs. Perfect for two friends to have some room, but might be tight for more people. The hot pot (soon to be a spa apparently) is beautiful and nicely hot, even on our cool blustery day. There was a note that we could use it for free because they’re still under construction, so no clue what access to it will cost guests once they’re finished. The on site restaurant was good (meat centric, FYI, but with a vegan and seafood option.) The staff were very friendly. Great location for jumping off to Snaefellsnes or the Westfjords.

This was our favorite stay in Iceland. We loved our view and the close proximity to the volcano/crater. We also enjoyed the newly remodeled hot spring pool and the fire in the evening which we had both all to ourselves. A wonderful quiet stay.

The room was clean. Coffee machine in room was nice. Restaurant meal was exquisite.

The outdoor hot tub was very nice, great way to relax after a busy day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious.
