Plenty of space, big windows let in lots of natural light, lovely views. Bed was comfy. Location is convenient to airport and Chamartin station, very close to Plaza de Castilla subway stop, but not a lot in the neighborhood to explore.

We needed a place close to Chamartin train station, and close to metro as we had luggage, so for this the hotel was perfect, right on the metro. We took one metro stop to Chamartin, but the high speed trains were located further away, about 12 min by foot. We should have just walked, it’s really close. You can take the metro to the center, it’s quite far, but we didn’t mind as we stayed only 2 nights and needed the convenient location for the airport and the train station. Comfortable beds, quiet surroundings and very nice breakfast.

The Exe was fine, though clearly older than the one we stayed at by the train station in Oviedo. Great staff, great breakfast. We selected them partly because they were kind enough to store our luggage while we bike toured for three weeks. We greatly appreciated that aspect, and hence (along with being near the train station) stayed here the first and last night of our trip.
