Great location near a lot of the planned destinations.
It is very well located. It is close to the Metro station Antón Martín. Madrid subways are very friendly to move around.
We were in room 17. There is a table that helps a lot organizing the luggage.
The building is old and full of character.
Our requests were addressed immediately.
Excellent location! I didn't take the subway at all. It was 5 min walk to the Prado museum, 8 min walk to Plaza Mayor, 10 min walk to plaza de Cibeles and Circulo de Bellas Artes. The hostel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The single room was a tiny small but comfortable. The area, and the whole Madrid center was very safe. I would come back!
Location was the best part of the Hostal. Short distance from Atocha station. Neighborhood behind was nice with good restaurants and bars.
It was a lovely room, with a fantastic shower. The bed was okay. I couldn’t use the air conditioner. In fact on a day when it was 72 degrees outside I entered the room and the heat was on. With the windows open there was street noise. Except for the construction, road cleaning, screaming woman, cars with music blaring and two guys yelling at each other. I slept with headphones on.
