The accomodations were simple and no frills, but quiet and clean, and a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It is well located, staff was great, nice and clean. Showers were immaculately clean..!

This is my third or fourth stay at the Hostal Tokio. The location is perfect with a short walk to two different Metro lines, several Markets, bakeries, restaurants, etc. They provide a nice basket of toiletries, the showers are nice pressure, and the staff are very kind, especially the young translator ;) The neighborhood (Malasana) is considered "hip" now, which means lots of options for food, music, bars.

The check in and check out process were both smooth. The room was clean and i liked that the fact that it contained its own private toilet & bathroom in the same room. The staff was friendly and I felt welcome. To add it the property is easily accessible by metro Granvia and Tribunal. There are also bus services that are available in the area. In addition, it is centrally located and one has access to various shops and eateries.

the location is just incredible, it was super clean and comfortable.
