We recently spent six nights at this hotel in Madrid and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Retiro Park and the Prado Museum, and within comfortable walking distance to many vibrant neighborhoods in the city.
The hotel itself is quiet and well-maintained, offering a very good breakfast selection with plenty of variety. The staff were consistently kind, friendly, and helpful, which added positively to our experience.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the bed, which ensured restful nights. However, the decor and furnishings are quite basic — nothing fancy or particularly stylish, but functional.
The room was beautiful with amazing windows and the beds were comfy. The location was excellent; it was convenient to walk to almost anything yet it was just outside the more touristy areas so it was quiet. You’re right next to the Museo del Prado and Parque de El Retiro. The staff was super friendly and they greeted my son with a happy birthday and congratulations (the reason for our trip) and left a sweet note and treat in the room. We absolutely loved our stay and would 1000% return.
The facility is beautiful and cozy. The staff were pleasant and attentive.
