The host actually picked us up at the train station and drove us there the morning we left
We found this a good location for day trips by train to Pisa and Florence
The owner was excellent, and the communication was excellent, very quick to respond. 10 minute walk to the train station. Due to a train strike, the hosts son went out of his way to pick us up from Florence train station. Lovely cosy accommodation. Local bar across the road which we joined the locals one night who were really friendly even thou they couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Italian, we did use Google translate, we had a very memorable stay
