We loved staying here, but it is a bit quirky. It was safe, clean, quiet, comfortable and had awesome airco. However, check in was an adventure because it took us a while to figure out the entrance was on the on the bottom left, not the center stairway. Then, there was no one at the desk. Also the rooms apparently weren't serviced on the weekend? This was not a huge problem, but it would have been nice to know. Dinner is frequently served, but not always, so you have to ask. When it is, it's $E20 - go for it. On Sundays - it's a luncheon. The onion focaccia is worth the price. The kitchen crew takes such pride in its meals. The breakfast is quite wonderful. People are very kind.
Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Nice white cotton sheets and towels. Big breakfast. Big free parking lot in front of the property. Beautiful calm atmosphere. AC works perfect. Free cold water.
The staff/volunteers are super nice.
I had a lovely large room with very high ceiling (number 1 on 3rd floor). It looks to have been recently rennovated.
The meals provided were delicious.
The property is well located to the Old Town.
Parking is on-site ( can be a rare thing in Italy!)
Unparalleled kindness and hospitality from the moment I walked in the door. Wonderful, spacious room, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, free parking right outside the entrance. Fantastic for the price. Not a typical hotel, by any means; it’s truly special.
