Отель Charm apartment - close to Rialto and San Marco, Венеция, Италия

The apartment had a well equipped kitchen. the binder with instructions for everything like the washing machine, sites and services in the area, emergency numbers...was wonderful. I highly recommend that all rental places offer a binder of information like this. The location was absolutely great, in Castello, close enough to touristy sites but out of the way enough to be quiet. The space is a bit quirky, but that just adds to the charm. I would definitely book this spot again. The photos I have included are not the typical tourist sites, they are in the Castello area, and more what makes the area such a great area of Venice to stay in. The apartment photos are also what made it so charming, the bridge to the front door and the boat door that because the tide was high most days, allowed water up the stairs. All so charming.

Sara's communications before we arrived were really welcoming and helpful, making the labyrinth of Venice possible to negotiate. The position in the Arsenale was ideal for us - quieter than around San Marco but close enough for easy access to all the 'sights'.

2 min to the Arsenale Vaporetto stop which was very convenient for coming in from the Venezia S. Lucia train station as well as travelling around Venice including trips to Burano and Murano. Arsenale was an interesting area with lots of eating places and lively with the ongoing Bienialle (started end April) and collateral events happening. Cozy studio apartment with full kitchen including dishwasher which was great for cooking when you don’t feel like eating out. Nearby supermarket and fruit and vegetable grocer where you can stock up the fridge. Washer with dryer function came in handy for a longer stay. Walking distance to St. Mark’s Square, Basilica and Doges Palace. Sarah the hostess was very kind, coming back promptly to let us in, when we accidentally locked ourselves out when we left without taking the keys.

Charmantes Apartment in einem wundervollen Altbau direkt an einem Kanal. Zur Adria / Lagune von Venedig sind es lediglich 2 Minuten zu Fuß und auf dem wag dahin gibt es zahlreiche gute Restaurants und Cafés. An diesem Ort kann man dem Trubel von Venedig entkommen und ist dennoch in wenigen Minuten im Geschehen. Für zwei Personen vollkommen ausreichend.
