The location was great. Peekaboo view of the ocean.
The apartment was beautiful, very efficiently designed, well outfitted, and included a balcony with a nice view of the sea. The owner, Iris, met us at the apartment to go over all the details and even made us reservations for dinner the same day. Iris was very pleasant and was always very responsive to our texts. The apartment is only a ten minute walk from the train station though as with all of Cinque Terre, it is an uphill walk. We found Monterosso to be a great home base for visiting all of Cinque Terre.
It was self catering, but our hostess provided complimentary coffee, Prosecco etc etc. These complimentary items were appreciated so much. Iris explained everything regarding the apartment so well and was very helpful and always available for any other information required. The bed was comfortable and the temperature in the room was good. We liked the location of the apartment as it was not in a busy, crowded area. Although there were quite a few stairs up the hill, it wasn’t a problem for us, we are in our mid sixties. This is a well equipped, pleasant place to stay. We were very happy with our choice.
The apartment was clean, cute, quiet, and had a good view. The apartment was well stocked with the essentials and then some. Iris was lovely and left a sweet welcome gift. She is very kind and helpful.
This is a beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment ran by a lovely host in Iris in the amazing Cinque Terre. Iris was a great host from the minute we booked with clear and immediate comms and also a brilliant up-to-date website where she provides lots of info on the 5 towns that make up Cinque Terre. She met us personally at the apartment and made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. She even kindly left us 2 bottles of wine, some biscuits and other items - such a lovely treat. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at any of the apartments she offers in this amazing part of Italy.
