The place is exactly like the photos and the terrace has a stunning view - I enjoyed a cappuccino every morning while watching the lake wake up and a glass of wine each evening while watching the sunset. We were provided with anything we could have needed and more! The bed was super comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was refreshing. There is a cute restaurant within walking distance, otherwise, we just used the car to make the short drive into Varenna. Alexis met us on the first day and provided lots of information (in addition to the book!) and having a garage to use in town was such a great bonus. Also, the best gelato can be found at Bon Bon ;-)

The host had a wonderful book filled with maps, things to do, and places to eat. She emailed me when she found certain events that were happening during our stay. Incredibly helpful.

Loved absolutely everything! All as described and host Allesandra is wonderful. Clean, comfortable, well stocked and everything we needed for our vacation. Having a car with garage parking at the house and in Varenna town make everything ideal. We also chose to walk into town a couple of times which is quite doable. There is a fabulous restaurant a few houses up as well with great food and views. The views and patio at this stay are amazing.

The host was exceptional. We arrived in Varenna late at night. She picked us up and took us to the apartment. She provided food for dinner and breakfast, which was so welcome after a hard day of traveling. She gave us great advice about places to eat. It was so useful having a parking space in the centre.

The property was very clean and very well equipped. Alexandra was a great host! Everything you need for a perfect stay!
