Fantastic host who helped us with our heavy bags and called us a cab. Awesome room with a terrace view up to Metera old city. Clean and spacious with modern amenities.
The apartment is well located within the Sassi area. It's absolutely beautiful with a large open plan seating area and bedroom. The bathroom is also large with a good walk in shower. There's a small outdoor terrace at the rear, however, we sat in the yard at the front as it's a lot brighter. With the walls off the building being so thick it's also very quiet and cool. There's air con but we never had to use it.
Wonderful location in the Sassi with a large room, comfortable bed, and small deck to take in the views. Easy walk around the city. Parking at a lot a short distance from room. Host was kind and helpful.
Matera was absolutely magnificent, and this room was conveniently located near the Red Bus/Sassi bus stop, right in the heart of the city's most vibrant area, surrounded by wine bars and restaurants. Although the room was smaller than expected, we still loved it and had a wonderful time in Matera. Alessandro was very responsive, offering helpful guidance on parking and getting around. The bathroom, though small, was charming and beautifully renovated.
This place was centrally located, very clean and comfortable. We loved it and would definitely come back. I highly recommend it. And, location is perfect!
