We loved that both our rooms had a balcony with amazing views of the city! They were very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel staff adapted to our needs exceptionally. The breakfast was very complete, and the space it was held at was beautiful! It is located right in the middle of the town!

The location was perfect and the staff was sort friendly and easy to contact. The staff gave excellent recommendations for an itinerary that we could manage in 1 day.

Loved the location and the sassi's feeling of the retreat. Roberta was very gracious and kind, making us feel very welcome. I would absolutely go back if I go back to Matera. A word to the wise....That the navetta or pre order the transportation from/to your parking garage. You and your legs will thank me later.

What a gorgeous hotel built into the historic caves. The rooms are exquisite, with little touches like a one-way glass in the bathrooms that amazed me. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic district with views across the city. Our host was so wonderful, helping us with our itinerary, recommending bars and restaurants and just being a super nice human being, can’t remind this wonderful hotel enough.
