My sister and I had an excellent stay at Hotel Gfell. Tucked away in a peaceful location, this family-owned and -operated hotel offers stunning views from the rooms. The modern design, with its earthy, calming tones, creates a serene, zen-like atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, and there are plenty of hiking options nearby. I highly recommend staying here!
Gfell has a unique atmosphere, the location, the views, the food, the wive and overall, the fact that is a family-owned boutique hotel, makes it more special!, they make sure every detail counts in your experience!!!
The scenery was spectacular and the hotel gorgeous - new and modern. More importantly, proprietors Julian and his family treat their guests like family and made us feel very welcome. If that wasn't enough, the home-cooked food was also amazing.
We loved the intimate, refined setting, and immediate access to breathtaking views and epic hiking trails. Breakfast was wonderful, and the adjacent restaurant run by the same family was elevated, and delicious. This is family owned and operated, and you can tell they put their hearts into making it a magical stay.
