The apartment I has been renovated to a high standard with views of the lake and is well equipped. The building had a small lift which helped. Apartment is close to everything in the small town.
This property is in a prime spot for Varenna, close to the waterfront bars and also town. Varenna is a lovely town and we loved staying here.
Check-in/check-out was seamless. Francesca provided me turn by turn directions from the check-in office, spoke to my Uber driver on the phone when he was having a hard time with his maps. Also, I had 2 last minute taxi cancellations and Francesca called around to arrange a last second taxi back to the airport and met me in town to pick up my keys so I had time to grab one last pastry and say bye to my friends.
I read a review that the shower was slippery, but don’t be led astray. It was a normal amount of slippery for a wet surface and the clear glass allowed for a straight view out the window and to the lake. GREAT shower experience. 10/10
Walkable location, beautiful views on the lake, front row views of the town for people watching and troubadour shows, comfy furniture, ample kitchen amenities to cook, secure building, clean. Super close to a couple of yummy restaurants and lakefront bars.
