Antonello was a wonderful host - he went beyond to make our check-in painless. The location was close to the old town of Matera.
Very well designed, comfortable every convenience. It was very near a pedestrian area from which most sites in Matera were accessible. The staff was exceptionally helpful.
It is not in the Sassi di Matera - however it is only a 14 minutes walk away. There are numerous shops and restaurants close by and the staff had excellent recommendations and advise for food and tours. Very good staff and the rooms were well appointed from tea/coffee in the rooms to vicinity to everything
