Everything! The owner, he helped us to find a parking neaby, helped with bags, reserved a nice restaurant for dinner. nice property, cozy and calm.
This family run B&B hosted by a ray of sunshine, Riccardo who ensures his guests are taken care of so well is exceptional. The beds are most comfortable, the rooms spacious and spotless. Breakfast included fresh pastries dropped off by the owner every morning, fresh coffee, yoghurt, juices and fruit.
The location is in the breathtakingly beautiful part of the historic centre, walkable and very quiet. Parking available nearby if needed. We had heavy luggage and were relieved when the owner assisted us with getting our bags into the room.
10/10! If you find yourself in Vibo Valentia for any amount of time, this is a wonderful place to stay. Finding the property was a bit challenging (only because GPS gets confused on these small town roads). But we called the host for help and once we arrived, he was extremely welcoming and accommodating (helping us find parking, bringing luggage inside, showing us the space). He recommended several restaurants for dinner and things to do in the area. The apartment itself was pristine and bright, with more amenities than most hotels. We had a balcony and view of the street, so the already ample space felt like it extended outdoors. Before sending us on our way, the host served us local pastries he had bought (along with a cappuccino) for breakfast. We were only passing through town to rest during a long drive, so the only thing I would change is staying longer!
