The architecture, the garden, everything was sublime!!!
Where to start? The online photos don’t do the property justice! The grounds are spectacularly beautiful and perfectly maintained. We traveled with three small children, two of whom explored the various nooks (possibly to the chagrin of the staff?) and they loved it. The pool is gorgeous and refreshing. The food was otherworldly good. We were reluctant to eat dinner at the hotel because we wanted to explore, but we were thrilled that we had our last meal here. In addition to the dinner being delicious, they have a kids menu too, which is pretty unique in Italy and very thoughtful. The staff also made sure that the kids’ food came out first. We loved having a pre dinner aperitivo after a long day of exploring Lake Maggiore. I expected the room itself to be smaller, but it was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. And the views!OMG. Seriously, this place is a gem and might be one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed in!
Beautiful setting with excellent staff. Little village of Oggibbio is very nice. View from Room 1 is amazing. Huge bathroom. Grounds are very nice. Wonderful breakfast. Dinner was good if a bit pricey.
Property is gorgeous, rooms are spacious, restaurant and breakfast are excellent, nice/attentive hosts.
everything! beautiful place, wonderful staff, great room. The restaurant was amazing, we ate there all 5 nights of our stay. personable and professional waitresses, especially Laura!
