Great rooms! Views, staff, breakfast, AC, all exceeded expectations. Great location!! I wasn't so sure we would like it as we drove through the city but really a fantastic place. Didn't want to leave!!!
Plenty of space, friendly reception, super comfy bed, and delicious breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the water! Couldn't have asked for more. :)
Apartment was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, with a huge variety, including meats, cheeses, quiche, fruits, juices, and sweets.
Just like the pictures, only better. The hotel's location and the view from our room, the quality of the furnishings, the delicious buffet breakfast and the kindness of the staff, all made our stay at La Gancia very memorable. We really got to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beaches, Erice and a trip to Favignana were all part of our Trapani experience, which staying at La Gancia enhanced.
This property is a 20 unit hotel built from a 500 year old former church and monastery. It is a masterful blend of the old rugged structure with the latest amenities. Excellent craftsmanship abounds. It is excellently located on the Mediterranean Sea, adjacent to the old fish market plaza - truly convenient to the sea, shops, and restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to map out a route to points of interest or to coordinate a pick up for you. Breakfast buffet was served on the 4th floor rooftop terrace which provides a front row view of the Mediterranean Sea which is directly below. Magnificent!
