Conveniently located right in the city center and right next to the entrance to the old town. Check in had to be done in a hotel nearby, which was fine. Good that you can use the hotel’s front desk to help with anything needed. Great that there was an elevator as the room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
The rooms had a nice size and the AC was working great. The cupboard was big. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. We stood there for only 1 night and it was really good. The breakfast has to be taken in a nearby hotel. Which was really good with lots of varieties to choose from. The location it's great just in the beginning of the pedestrian área in the center of Matera.
The staff at check-in was very friendly and gave us information of the surroundings. We stayed in a separate building, having breakfast at the main hotel, which was really great!
Fabulous location right on main Corso. Small hotel room in an older blg but was well laid out. check-in and breakfast is at a nearby hotel, San Domenico Hotel, easily walkable. Good breakfast. we were able to extend our stay as Matera is absolutely out of this world. Tones to explore, we stayed 3 nights.
The property is in a wonderful location. The shower was also wonderful and relaxing
