Many other hotels/motels in Dauphin appear to be off the main highway when entering the city. This motel is a bit more central and seems walkable to surrounding areas. We mainly used it for a quick stay on our way through the area, and appreciated that the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and that there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. We stayed on a Sunday night, so it was pretty quiet. Parking was available on site but could possibly fill up depending on the number of guests staying. Check in was quick and easy, and for check out there is a key drop available in the event that the office is not yet open. Based on the price we paid, we were happy with the accommodations.
There is a movie theatre across the street so we went to see Deadpool and Wolverine. This is a great location.
The bed and bedding were great. Also, when the staff saw my husband was blind, he upgraded us to a ground floor, bigger room at no extra charge.
It’s got a kitsch feel to it but the staff are amaxing!
Nice and quiet close to everything and a nice firm bed!
