Top quality hotel in an excellent location, walking distance from Gardens, shopping, and the Bund. Excellent restaurants.
We enjoyed friendly staff and also the wonderful restaurant onsite. The bed is very comfortable and view is fanstatic! will definitely back again.
The property was fantastic overlooking the beautiful river outside. The dining options were vast and met every need the drinks downstairs were ideal for lounging. The workout facilities and the swimming pool were beautiful.
Everything. The hotel is close to the Xuanwu Lake and in walking distance to the Xuanwu Gate. It’s easy to get in and out traffic wise but feel quieter than the Xinjiekou area. The hotel is newer than most peer group such as Westin and Hilton. The staff is very friendly and better quality than its peer group as well. The cleaning staff especially go out of their way to help. Their Chinese restaurant Jiangnan Zao is delicious. We stayed in three hotels (Westin, Hilton Riverside) in Nanjing on a recent trip and Shangrila is by far the best.
