The room is quite good, with a bathroom and shower inside. Many hostels in China have shared bathrooms. One side is close to the elevated highway, so it can be a bit noisy, but you can switch to the other side. If you have WeChat, you can communicate with them using it; WeChat has a built-in translation feature! This is very convenient. Alternatively, they can also use WhatsApp for service, although you rarely see Chinese people with WhatsApp. The front desk also sells essentials like towels and slippers. If you don't have Alipay, you really need one! They can help you register for Alipay. With Alipay, traveling in China will be very convenient. Without it, it's quite troublesome, as you'll have to constantly exchange cash and end up with a lot of change.

There are plenty of dining options around this hostel. The room includes a toilet and shower. There are also numerous HALAL restaurants nearby. It's very close to the subway station. The front desk staff helped me set up Alipay and showed me how to use it for subway rides. Overall, it was a wonderful trip to Hangzhou. With Alipay you can do a lot of things. Several banks nearby you can exchange dollar or your own currency to rmb, charges nothing for currency exchange. So... dont exchange too much at the airport!

The place is not easy to find although you will receive some guidelines. The staff is really nice and location is quite good (close to the metro).

Service were great. They would love to help you when you ask them questions. Landry mechine only have Chinese, so if you want to wash your clothes, ask staff for help. Location was great, Close to everything.

The view is great; you can see the whole city. The staff told me this is the old town, so there aren’t many tall buildings. However, I find it quite different. Asia is indeed different from Europe. There are many people everywhere, and there's a lot of food everywhere. I tried some, and it’s completely different from Chinese food in the UK. There’s a HALAL noodle shop downstairs, which I really like, and it’s very cheap. If you need to exchange some RMB, you can find a bank within a few minutes’ walk. You can also use Alipay; it seems that for small amounts, there are no extra fees, but for amounts over a few hundred RMB, there is an additional charge. So, you can try making small payments each time.
