The location and quietness of this stay was top notch. The view is also amazing! We saw an elephant taking a bath across the river in the early morning before going to breakfast. Breakfast is included and it's good. It's a bit on the expensive side but the rooms are big and comfortable. We highly recommend!
It was a nice comfortable break from the slow boat. I would happily stay if the stopover wasn’t an overnight one
The welcoming with a soft drink and cold refreshing towels. The beauty location in front of the makong river , the large terrace.
In the morning we saw an elephant walking on the other side of the river
Beautiful view. Very nice staff with pickup from the boat landing, although it’s only a few hundred meters up the hill. It had multiple fans as there is no AC, but not needed
What a unique and comfortable stay. Upon reading some other reviews, I was a bit worried about the noise and the mosquitos but our experience was fantastic! We loved our authentic room and it had a great balcony looking out to the river and you could see where the boats were docked below. We were on the top floor of a bungalow and we didn't have any adjoining rooms which probably made it quieter. A few of the bungalows looked like they have adjoining walls which could make things louder I assume. The room was so inviting and it had wood shutters which you could open to the outside. The location was great and we just walked up from the boat with our backpacks. Breakfast is served in the restaurant just steps across the road and everything was perfect for us. Check in and check out was smooth and we would absolutely stay here again. Hopefully longer next time. It was a great choice for our stop over on our two day Mekong boat ride.
