It’s an amazing setting, very beautiful, and very you’re, very few guests! The buses are actually quite convenient and stop very close to the manor but you have to plan in advance for the schedule
The room was very spacious. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Despite the size of the room, it was warm. It has a fridge and kettle, and the wardrobe, even though old, is spacious and works with the ambience of the room. Staff were pleasant and lovely to interact with. We got a set of keys for the front door and the room.
Quite an experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krimuldas Muiza. The grounds are beautiful and the location is right in the national park with access to hiking trails on the property. It's also close to a small town with restaurants. The highlight of our trip was a private wine tasting. The wine maker was excellent and we loved our translator, the same woman that checked us in.
Best location, historical background, old park around, quiet, unusual, like a palace which it actually was
I could take many wonderful hikes directly from the manor
