Worth the 12 hour flight. The feeling from the moment you step in is amazing. The staff will do anything to make you feel good, entertained. We had a experience, when we asked for an coconut water, we received a personalized one. I would recommend a massage at spa as well. The sea view from the hotel is breathtaking. The restaurant staff is always very attentive, full of jokes, mentioning here Anil and his team from the La Plage restaurant. But the feeling to relax under a coconut tree by the water is what impressed me the most. Water sport activities can be fun as well, we did snorkelling at special spot brought over with a glass bottom boat, kayak and hydrobycicle, all for free .

Choice of drinks and use of premier restaurants as part of the all inclusive package was best I've experienced

It should be 5 stars .. room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly, there is alot of free activities and games .. we played volleyball, ping-pong, went for kayaking and some other games.the view from the room was spectacular

The adults-only Ambre is an amazing resort that caters for all your needs. The food offering at the various restaurants is great and the beautiful beach and activities on offer are more than enough to keep one entertained. It was a beautiful, relaxing holiday.

Exceptional customer service from front of house staff, and actually all the staff we encountered. Communication prior to arrival was first class, in particular with Ankush Sungkur, helping me arrange extra special flower decorations for the room, as it was my partners 40th birthday the day we arrived. Not only did the flowers and birthday message look incredible, we were treated to much more and made to feel like VIPs. A truly unforgettable experience. The hotel was clean, safe and friendly. The food and drink service was great, the beach views breathtaking. The inclusion of golf at a nearby island was something special. Snorkelling, sailing, windsurfer, paddling, couples massage near the beach... we packed so much into a 7-night stay, too much to include in this review. Would definitely like to return one day and can authentically recommend this resort to anyone else looking for a magical Mauritius experience.
